A train accident occurred in West Bengal's Bankura district at Onda railway station, resulting in the collision and derailment of two goods trains. Several wagons and engines derailed in the incident.

The incident took place at around 4:05 am when one good train overshot the red signal and collided with a parked maintenance train. Fortunately, there have been no reported casualties.
